Participants of Paxxioneer’s learning experience in Laos go on a road trip through the hilly provinces with Sam Say, founder of a local social enterprise in coffee.
Sam and his team often look for local coffee farmers with quality coffee beans, and discuss with them reasonable prices and improvements on coffee plantation. The road trip is an eye opener to rural and agricultural development of Laos, and sets the tone for coffee experiences in the next few days.
Sam runs this coffee social enterprise to improve the livelihood of coffee farmers in Laos. Paxxioneer’s learning experience group is more than happy to visit one of the farmers here.
Austerity doesn’t stop Phone and his family from treating guests well. We are grateful for this candid cultural and social exchange. Friendship flourishes!
Phone brews coffee for us — with his antique grinder from the US!
